Powerful Presentations: How to Make an Impact

People have a great opportunity to make an impression on the job when they make a presentation.

Unfortunately, they don't always make the right impression. Some people are visibly nervous, even when they know their stuff. Other people seem to ramble on and on, never making a point. Still others do fine when they follow their script, but when questions are asked, they freeze. And then there are the slides that are so difficult to read that you think you've suddenly developed a vision problem. Well, it doesn't have to be that way.

You can help your colleagues make an impact in their presentations with Powerful Presentations, a two-day workshop with lots of useful tools and hands on practice. We get to the root of the nerves that can sabotage a presentation. We offer tools and techniques for planning a presentation that is logical and on target. We provide tips and examples of effective visual aids so that the support materials used enhance the presentation. And we give participants several opportunities to practice delivering a presentation.

They actually get 4 opportunities to practice and are videotaped during each one. The feedback they get from their peers and the suggestions from the trainers provide a foundation for continually improving one's presentation skills. Our ultimate goal is to help people make an impact, and make a positive impression with the presentations they deliver.
