Sure, some of us took communication classes in college, but when it comes to the real world, we find ourselves pretty weak communicators. And given that our communication practices are often long-held habits, making a change requires a long-term commitment to change. The Communication Lab lays the foundation to become a more successful communicator in all areas on the job. In this 2-day workshop, participants get feedback about their communication practices, learn techniques and skills for improved communication, and create development plans to become the kind of communicator they want to be. They also learn to give feedback to others and hear feedback from others on communication practices. The end result is a better understanding of one's communication practices and how they can be improved.
